What Frequently Viewed Products Does
Wishlist Plus now tracks how many times a single shopper views the same product. When they hit the count you configure, Swym waits for a time delay you also set. Then it fires a marketing event to your connected platform. Klaviyo, Omnisend, Attentive, and others receive the trigger and activate whatever flow you have in place.
You control both settings. View frequency sets the number of views required to qualify. Time delay sets how long after the final qualifying view before the event fires.
The recommended starting point is three views with a 30-minute delay. Adjust once your first events are flowing.
Why This Signal Is Different From Browse Abandonment
Browse abandonment captures a single-session signal (i.e a shopper looked at something and left).
Frequently Viewed Products fires on repeated consideration (the same shopper returning to the same product multiple times).
These are different moments in the shopper journey and they deserve different messages.
A shopper who has viewed the same product three or more times are evaluating, comparing options, waiting on budget, and sharing a link for a second opinion. Reaching them at this point with a targeted message or a personalized recommendation turns prolonged consideration into a completed order.
The two triggers work best as a pair with non-overlapping exit conditions. Shoppers already in a Frequently Viewed flow exit browse abandonment, and vice versa. Full-funnel browse coverage with zero duplicate sends.
The difference between the two comes down to context. One says "you looked at this." The other says "you keep coming back to this." That distinction is what makes the message land differently and convert at a higher rate.
Which Platforms Receive the Trigger
Swym sends the Frequently Viewed Products trigger to all connected marketing platforms. This includes Klaviyo, Omnisend, Ometria, Attentive, and any other platform connected to your Wishlist Plus account. Use it to build flows, journeys, and campaigns that retarget shoppers who have shown strong repeat browse intent.
The trigger is also available for Attentive, Ometria, and SwymSender on request.
Other platforms including Braze, Iterable, and ActiveCampaign can be enabled by the Swym team.
Who Receives the Events
Events only fire for identified shoppers. A shopper must already be known to your store, meaning they have logged in, saved a wishlist, checked out, or opted in to marketing via marketing popups. Anonymous browse activity is tracked by Swym. The event fires as soon as identity resolves.
For Klaviyo, Omnisend, and Ometria, Swym can resolve anonymous identity using the email or profile data in your connected account. Browsers who qualify before they are identified receive the event the moment their profile becomes available.
One event can carry multiple products. If a shopper has qualified on three different products within the same window, all three travel in a single event. Your email template can display every qualifying product dynamically without sending separate messages per product.

Open or get Wishlist Plus in your Shopify Admin, go to the Marketing tab, and locate the Frequently Viewed Products card.
