The Swym + SAP Emarsys integration works with both the Swym Wishlist Plus and Swym Back in Stock Alerts apps and allows you to create personalized automations.

Pass on back-in-stock subscriptions, wishlist actions, and other event triggers from your Swym apps to create automated workflows and marketing campaigns directly in your Emarsys dashboard.

Pre-requisites:

Enable super-targeted, highly relevant email to drive more sales with the following:

  • Automatic wishlist reminder emails
  • Back in stock alerts on restocked products
  • Price drop and low stock alerts on wishlist items
  • Abandoned Cart emails
  • Browse abandon emails

SAP Emarsys integration is available only for the merchants on the Enterprise plans of Wishlist Plus and Back in Stock Alerts applications.

Scope of Integration

This integration ensures real-time or near real-time delivery of Swym event triggers into Emarsys, enabling merchants to:

● Build automated flows (e.g., wishlist reminders, back in stock notifications, etc).

● Personalize messaging using rich shopper intent data.

● Grow their mailing lists directly from Swym forms, reducing operational overhead and improving data accuracy.

Depending on which Swym app (or apps) you have installed, Swym would be able to trigger the following events to Emarsys.

Swym Wishlist Plus Events

Event Name When this event is triggered
Swym Added to Wishlist Shopper adds a product to their wishlist
Swym Share Wishlist Shopper shares their wishlist
Swym Signup Confirmation Shopper logs in to their wishlist and validates their email ID
Swym Wishlist Reminder Use to send a reminder about their wishlist
Swym Saved for Later Reminder Use to send a reminder about their Saved For Later items
Swym Price Drop Use to send an alert when a product on their wishlist has a price drop
Swym Low Stock Use to send an alert when a product on their wishlist has low stock remaining
Swym Restock Alert Use to send an alert when a product on their wishlist is restocked

Swym Back in Stock Alerts Events

Event Name When this event is triggered
Swym Back in Stock Acknowledgement Shopper signs up or subscribes to be notified when a product is back in stock
Swym Restock Alert Use to send alerts when a product a shopper requested a back-in-stock alert for is restocked
Swym Restock Reminder Shopper logs in to their wishlist and validates their email ID
Swym Wishlist Reminder Use to send a reminder alert when a product a shopper requested a back-in-stock alert for is restocked (Note: This is a follow-up to the original BackInStock Event alert, usually sent after 24 hours after the first but can be configured to your needs)

How to set up the Integration?

Enabling the Swym + SAP Emarsys integration is easy. We’ll need you to share a few details so our team can set up the integration for you.

To get started, send us an email at support@swymcorp.com. Be sure to include the following details: 

  • Client ID and Client Secret: You can find this by navigating to Management > Security settings > API Credentials > Create API Credentials on your Emarsys dashboard. Please refer to this article for further help.

  1. You need to select the OpenID Connect option while creating the API credentials.
  2. Please provide the following permissions to the API

  • List of events: Choose the events from the list above that you want to use to create automations in Emarsys. Remember, you can only choose events from the Swym apps you have installed.

Once you share these details, our team will quickly enable the integration from the backend. After the integration is enabled, you can use Emarsys to easily set up personalized and targeted email campaigns or create relevant customer segments based on the chosen events!
