What's New at Swym: March 2026

Here's how wishlist setup used to work: open the app, navigate through settings, pick your button style, configure placement, preview, adjust, repeat. It worked , but it wasn't exactly quick.

🎉 1 Billion Shopper Intent Actions. All Yours.

Here's something worth celebrating: across the Swym merchant community, shoppers have now told you what they want over one billion times. A billion wishlist adds, saves, back-in-stock signups, and browsing signals , each one a moment where a shopper raised their hand and said, "I want this."

That's not just a milestone. That's a billion pieces of zero-party data sitting in your store, waiting to be used.

But here's the thing we keep hearing from merchants: "I know the data is valuable. I just wish it were easier to set up , and easier to act on."

We heard you. This month's updates are all about exactly that. We've made it dramatically simpler to get your wishlist live on your store and to push that captured data into the workflows where it actually drives revenue.

Let's get into it.

In This Issue

→ Set up your wishlist with Shopify Sidekick , just ask → Shopify Flow integration , put your intent data to work → Sent Alert Details report with CSV export → Usage & Quota dashboard → Multi-language widget support → Partner spotlight, case studies & events

1. Set Up Your Wishlist with Shopify Sidekick , Just Ask

Here's how wishlist setup used to work: open the app, navigate through settings, pick your button style, configure placement, preview, adjust, repeat. It worked , but it wasn't exactly quick.

Now? Just tell Shopify Sidekick what you want.

Sidekick , Shopify's AI assistant , can now configure and customize your Swym wishlist for you. Want heart icons on your collection pages? A save button that matches your brand colors? A wishlist icon in your header? Just describe it in plain language, and Sidekick handles the rest.

No settings menus. No code. Just tell it what you're looking for, and your wishlist is live.

What you can set up through Sidekick:

  • Wishlist button style, placement, and colors
  • Save for Later widget configuration
  • Header icon setup and behavior
  • Button visibility across product and collection pages

A note on availability: Sidekick-powered wishlist setup is currently available for newly installed merchants. If you're an existing Swym merchant and want access, just drop us a line at support@swymcorp.com , mention "Sidekick customization" and we'll get you set up.

2. Shopify Flow Integration , Put Your Intent Data to Work

So your shoppers are saving products, subscribing to alerts, building wishlists. That data is sitting in Swym. But what if it could flow , automatically , into the rest of your Shopify stack?

Now it does.

With our new Shopify Flow integration, you can connect wishlist events directly to Shopify's native automation platform. It's completely self-serve: set it up yourself, build the workflows you need, and let the data move where it matters.

The best part? The use cases go way beyond basic reminders. Here are three ways merchants are already putting this to work:

📬 Turn Intent Signals into Revenue-Driving Messages

Your shoppers are already telling you what they want. Now you can automatically turn those signals into perfectly timed communications , no manual work required.

  • Wishlist or Save for Later reminder → Trigger a message via Shopify Email, push notification, or your preferred channel
  • Product alert (back-in-stock, price drop) → Automatically notify shoppers through email or push
  • Reminder or alert sent → Follow up with a personalized promo code to close the sale

🏷️ Let Wishlist Data Organize and Route Your Customers

Instead of manually tagging and segmenting, let your shoppers' behavior do it for you. Wishlist activity becomes the signal that sorts customers into the right buckets , and gets them in front of the right people.

  • Wishlist size exceeds a threshold → Auto-tag the customer for targeted campaigns
  • High-value items wishlisted or wishlist value above a threshold → Assign a sales rep for personal outreach
  • Back-in-stock or alert subscriptions spike for a product → Send an internal alert to your team
  • Shopper signs up for back-in-stock → Update transactional permissions automatically
  • Shopper subscribes to alerts → Update promotional permissions

🔄 Connect Wishlists to Your Entire Shopper Journey

Wishlists don't exist in a vacuum. With Flow, you can weave them into loyalty programs, referrals, quizzes, and more , making the wishlist a living part of your customer experience.

  • Shopper completes a quiz → Add recommended items to their wishlist automatically
  • Cart abandoned → Save those items to the wishlist so they're not lost
  • Wishlist item purchased → Trigger a reward or loyalty credit
  • Wishlist shared → Kick off a referral flow
  • Customer joins a loyalty tier → Add curated products to their wishlist
  • Campaign launch → Create a themed list and auto-populate it with featured items

The bottom line: Your wishlist data is no longer locked in one app. It's a trigger, a signal, and a building block for any workflow you can imagine in Shopify Flow.

3. Sent Alert Details Report + CSV Export

You've been sending back-in-stock alerts, price drop notifications, and low-stock warnings. But until now, getting a clear picture of exactly what was sent, to whom, and when , that wasn't easy.

The new Sent Alert Details report changes that. It gives you a filterable, detailed view of every alert that's gone out to your shoppers. And when you need to dig deeper , or share the data with your team , you can export the full report to CSV in one click.

Even if you've sent thousands of alerts, our new streaming export handles it without breaking a sweat.

What you get:

  • A complete record of every sent alert, filterable by date, type, and product
  • One-click CSV export for offline analysis or team sharing
  • Streaming export that works even for massive data sets
  • Clear visibility into which alerts are actually reaching your shoppers

4. Usage & Quota Dashboard

Ever wonder where you stand on your plan? We added a Usage & Quota widget right on your Analytics dashboard , so you can see your current usage, what's left, and how long your runway is, all at a glance.

No more guessing whether you're approaching a limit. No more digging through account settings. It's right there, front and center, with a clear read on where you stand and one-click access to upgrade options if you need them.

5. Multi-Language Widget Support

If you're selling globally, your wishlist should speak your shoppers' language , literally. We've rolled out dynamic multi-language support for the Save for Later widget, with smarter translations across all supported Shopify locales.

We've also translated pricing and feature information across all non-English locales, and free plan banners are now available in 7 languages. Your international shoppers get the same polished, localized experience as everyone else.

🏪 Swym for Sales: In-Store Wishlists, Upgraded

Your sales team's new secret weapon — curated lists they can build and share, right from Shopify POS.

[Image: In-Store List with Share List modal — use the attached screenshot]

Here's a scenario: a shopper walks into your store, browses with a sales associate, loves a few pieces but isn't ready to buy. Before Swym for Sales, that interaction ended at the door. Now?

Your associate creates an in-store picks list, adds the products the shopper loved, jots down notes ("prefers size M," "birthday gift for wife"), and emails the entire curated list to the shopper before they leave. The shopper gets a personalized list in their inbox — with product images, pricing, and stock availability — ready to purchase online whenever they're ready.

That's the offline-to-online bridge that turns a browse into a sale.

What's new this month:

  • Share Lists — Sales associates can email curated in-store lists directly to shoppers, with an optional CC field for gift purchases or follow-ups
  • List Notes — Add context to individual items: sizing preferences, personalization requests, gift notes, special instructions
  • Real-time stock visibility — Associates see in-stock and out-of-stock status right in the list, so they never recommend something unavailable
  • POS extension upgrades — All Swym POS extensions have been upgraded to Shopify's latest version (2025-10) for improved performance and compatibility

Whether it's a fashion stylist building a "looks we picked for you" list, a furniture associate saving a customer's top picks for their living room, or a jewelry consultant noting ring sizes alongside wishlist items — your in-store team now captures the same shopper intent signals your online store does. And that data flows right back into your Swym dashboard.
